Lets Make a Hula Hoop Tent/Canopy ! (No Sewing)

This is great for making kids feel cozy without the eyesore of an actual tent indoors!

Things you will need:
1 Hula Hoop (The bigger, the better IMO)
1 Pair of scissors
1 Ceiling Hook
2 Sheer 84inch. curtains in the color of your choice
1 Roll of ribbon (at least 2 fingers width)
1 hot glue gun w/ glue sticks (duh)
(Optional) Safety Pin
(Optional) Additional decorations like Beads, Glowy Stars, Confetti ....

Quick Tips:
I bought the light up Hula Hoop @ Target for $7.99 vs. $5.99 for the regular one (your choice)
Also , Target has sheer white 84inch curtains for $4.99 each! What a good deal! Score!

Let's get started ...

An optional step is to wrap the hula hoop with ribbon. Use plenty of hot glue if you choose to do this, so it won't unravel.

First - Cut the hula hoop at 1 spot. Insert it into the loop of both curtains. Make sure the inseams go inside.

Second - Tape the hula hoop back together, and wrap a (2) 2ft. ribbon around it 3 times (over the tape and directly parallel to each other) while securing each layer with hot glue

Third - Bring the ribbons together to make it hang leveled, and glue it. I also put a safety pin for extra security. Then make a hole on the ribbon 1 inch down from where they meet. Screw the ceiling mount at desired location, and hang it (after decorating if you chose to)
